Welcome to Army Public School - Bogdang

Army Goodwill School(AGS), Bogdang was started to provide quality primary education to the children with special emphasis on their all-round development and also the socially and economically backward children must get access to the education of the remote area of the Nubra valley on 31 May 1998. AGS, Bogdang has been granted recognition by the Chief Education Officer J&K Education board, Leh as a Private School up to class VIII vide their letter No ESTT-29/4957-611 dt sep-Oct.2004. In a small span the school has been improved to enviable standards. QRF Bn, post 9 is responsible for the overall administration of the AGS, Bogdang and now responsibility is taken by Army unit. AGS, Bogdang was started with total 41 students in yr 1998 and now in 2022 total 304 students are studying and school is running from Play Group to class 8th with hostel facility. AGS Bogdang have a team of 14 teachers and running on a ratio of 1:20. The school has well equipped infrastructure with 15 - Classrooms, Computer Lab, Science Lab, Library, Staff Room, Assembly Area, Kitchen & Dinning Hall and Play Ground.Other than this 06 x classrooms are equipped with online and virtual teaching platform estb by PTC Foundation as CSR project. School is fully run by Indian Army under OP 'SADHBHAVNA'.
